One who maintains, coddles, torments, curses, and heals computers running the UNIX operating system, and the users who use them.
1) one of a group of often portly and bearded people with a penchant for Monty Python, Bablyon 5 and Dilbert.
2) a member of the brotherhood of pseudo-shamans, techno-medicine men and auto-mechanics of the abstract and unseeable. More like holy men than preachers, and about as comprehendable to an outsider.
